Sheepdrove Organic Farm
With six holiday lets, 1000 acres, a conference centre, and a dozen staff, Sheepdrove came to us enquiring how they could become net zero carbon in operation.
We have now been working with them for over six years to realise their dream. Our process began with understanding their challenge, by speaking to staff and conducting a baseline assessment of carbon emissions and energy use. We constructed for them a policy framework to respond to their needs, with a clear commitment to transition to Net Zero and Nature Positive by 2030.
We have helped them now build out their renewable assets, with now over 1,000 solar panels, and two wind turbines, tendered and project managed the installation of a massive ground source heating system that now heats their conference centre and three holiday lets, and are now helping them install battery storage to take them off grid for six months of the year. Annually we deliver an assessment of their carbon impact and energy use, whilst offering monitoring of all assets to ensure they deliver the projected cost savings and environmental promises.
